Preparing Your Overlocker
Needles: One or Two
Stitch Type: Three- or Four-Thread Overlock with Ultra-Stretch Safety Coverstitch
Stitch Length: 4
Differential Feed: Normal
Upper Cutter: Engage or Disengage
1. Loosen the screw and slide the guide to the left.
2. Insert the elastic through the opening and pull it toward the back of the foot.
3. Replace the guide and tighten the screw.
4. Attach the elastic foot to the machine.
5. Adjust the desired stretch tension using the screw on the high presser foot.
6. Place the fabric under the foot, wrong side up, in the desired position.
7. Sew, keeping the elastic slightly pulled toward the back of the machine.
TAKE CARE NOT TO CUT THE ELASTIC WHILE SEWING.
NOTE: IF DESIRED, THE SEWN ELASTIC CAN BE STRETCHED, LOWERED, AND SEWN WITH A REGULAR SEWING MACHINE USING A STRAIGHT STRETCH STITCH OR A MULTISTRETCH ZIGZAG STITCH.
