Terms and Conditions of Use

LIABILITY

Il Punto nel Ricamo shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage or loss arising from the sale of goods and services offered in the catalog published on the Il Punto nel Ricamo website, including delays or failures in delivery, discrepancies between the goods and the specifications published on the website, or any other event not directly attributable to Il Punto nel Ricamo.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The technical information provided on the Il Punto nel Ricamo website is sourced from the manufacturers of the items listed in our catalog. Therefore, Il Punto nel Ricamo reserves the right to modify or update technical and dimensional product information based on manufacturers’ communications, even without prior notice.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Because online access and order placement automatically update product availability in real time, Il Punto nel Ricamo cannot guarantee the allocation of ordered merchandise. The seller reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel an order in case of material, price, or availability errors. If an order is canceled, the buyer will be notified by email within 24 hours and refunded the price paid.

RISK AND OWNERSHIP

Shipping is carriage forward. Upon delivery, the customer must check package integrity and that the quantity and quality match the accompanying document (DDT). Any discrepancies must be noted on the delivery document and reported within seven days via fax or registered letter with acknowledgment to Il Punto nel Ricamo and the relevant sales contact. Even if the packaging appears intact, the contents must be inspected within seven days of receipt. Hidden defects must be reported in writing via fax or registered letter. Claims beyond the specified timeframe will not be considered. The customer bears full responsibility for any statements made.

ORDERS

Orders are accepted via the Internet or email. Customers placing orders online will receive an order confirmation email with an order number. If no order number appears within a few minutes, the order is considered not accepted by law, even for accounting, administrative, or stock-related reasons.

PRICES

All prices displayed on the Il Punto nel Ricamo website are in euros and include the Italian VAT rate of 22%. Shipping costs are not included, and prices are subject to change without prior notice. IMPORTANT: All prices and offers are valid exclusively for online purchases. Prices may differ from those in-store at our Gallarate location, where basic product training is included in the price and can be used when and as often as needed. For customers in other EU countries, please note that VAT rates may differ depending on the destination country:

  • Belgium: 21%

  • Germany: 19%

  • Austria: 20%

  • Spain: 21%

For purchases made with a valid EU VAT number, the reverse charge mechanism will apply (VAT exemption), subject to verification of the VAT ID.

PAYMENTS

PayPal: Payment via PayPal is available worldwide, supporting major credit cards (Postepay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Aura) for secure transactions.
Bank Transfer in Advance: Simply transfer funds at a branch or online. We will ship once the payment is credited to our account.

Il Punto nel Ricamo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold shipment even after order acceptance for clients who are over their credit limit, have overdue payments, or disputes.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers (as per Legislative Decree 206/2005) may withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of receipt, without penalty and without explanation. Withdrawal must be communicated in writing (registered letter with acknowledgment), telegram, fax, or email, with registered confirmation within 48 hours. Goods must be returned in perfect condition with original packaging, fiscal document (receipt or invoice), and any included technical/material. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. Il Punto nel Ricamo will refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Complete product package and original invoice should be sent to: Il Punto nel Ricamo – Via Verdi 27, 21017 Samarate (VA). The customer must provide banking details for refund (bank name, codes ABI/CAB, account number, account holder, address including postal code). Without such information, the return is invalid and goods will remain on hold. On delivery, the customer must verify that the number of packages, product identity and quality, and integrity are correct. The customer must promptly report any problem as described above.

WARRANTY

A 2-year warranty is provided under applicable law unless otherwise specified. Il Punto nel Ricamo assumes responsibility following phone agreement at +39 0331 791769 or email at info@ilpuntonelricamo.com. Please specify machine model, defect, and purchase date. If the malfunction is covered, following email request we will dispatch our courier to collect the product in its original packaging with the sales receipt/invoice; otherwise, shipping costs will be charged. We will repair and return the product at no cost, provided conditions are met. If the defect occurs within 10 days of purchase (receipt date), the product will be replaced (with original packaging and all accessories). If technicians find no defect or attribute it to misuse, wear, or other non-manufacturing causes, shipping and repair costs will be charged to the customer.

APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURT

This contract is governed by Italian law. In case of dispute, only the Court of Varese has jurisdiction.
