1. Set the machine to straight stitch with the needle in the leftmost position.
2. Place the fabric to be gathered under the presser foot with the raw edge protruding slightly
to the right of the foot. Insert the fabric, which should remain completely flat, into the
slot of the foot. The fabrics should be right sides together.
3. Guide the fabric, allowing the sewing machine to freely pull the fabric
underneath to create even gathering.
